In our home, we are preparing to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. It is a delightfully energetic time with the contrast of coming to year end and getting everything accomplished, looking toward a new year with hope and good intent. Wrapped around the chaos, we integrate the aspects of hope, joy, love and peace into our day and relationships.
On Christmas Eve, we will hear the story of three wise men bearing gifts for a child, following a star that would lead them to him. In my coaching role, I often challenge people about how they show up opposed to how they want to show up in the presence of others. It strikes me that we all are lights with the potential to shine for others, to lead them down a path in a strategic direction. When we are in leadership positions or in roles of influence we can illuminate ourselves and the talents of others. The gift we can facilitate is to be the shining light for others even when we are not there. How bright do you shine when you leave the room?
It is with a full heart that I thank all of you, as clients, peers, people in my network and friends. 2016 will mark 20 years for Solutions Provided and that milestone is in part from what I have learned and experienced from you along the way.
I will be reflecting on “how I want to show up” and “what type of shining light I can be to others” as I cast my vision forward. May each of you be blessed with good health and happy hearts.
